John's Chronology -In the Gospel of John, is the discourse of Messiah Yeshua with His disciples at the Last Supper. The full account is covered in detail in the Gospel of John; chapters 13-17. This Last Supper of Yeshua with His disciples took place the evening prior to the פּסח Pesach Feast. Furthermore, this is the meal where Christians get their Holy Communion or Eucharist Sacrament. After the meal, Yeshua with His disciples departed to a garden, traditionally Gethsemane, beyond the brook Kidron: where He was betrayed as recorded in John 18. Hence, constrained, convicted and crucified in less than twenty four hours; John 18-19. Swift. Efficient. With the precision of a sacrifice. Yet brutal and unmerciful. Therefore, He is crucified and entombed just prior to the Pesach Feast and the Feast of Unleavened Bread; John 19.42. After all this, Messiah Yeshua rose from His Earthly Tomb on the third day. By deduction, Yeshua is entombed hastily prior to the Pesach Feast, then the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread is a Holy day and the second day must have been a Sabbath so the third day would have been a Sunday; because Mary Magdalene did not visit the tomb until the third day, Jews were forbidden to do work on Holy days. Just an observation, there also would have been a full moon on the day of the crucifixion; Thursday. And He rose on the first day of the week; John 20.1. Essentially, even in death Yeshua kept the Holy days of Yahweh and went back to work. Does our society keep the Holy Days of Yahweh? In the perfect quietness of the roar, how quickly we gently fall. |
